Dna A Protein
Dna A is responsible for starting the formation on the replication bubble. The Dna A protein binds to the 9 base pairs repeats. This is a repeated nine base pair sequence on the right side of the oriC sequence. Four Dna A proteins bind to this repeated sequence starting the formation of the replication bubble. Then Dna A proteins bind cooperatively together to form a Dna A complex that is wrapped on the surface with the oriC sequence. This cause strand separation in the 13-mers which binds the Dna B proteins.
